MID’s quick clean option can be added to any rotary valve with a removable end cover.
Used where cross-contamination of different products or rapid dismantling for cleaning is needed, the MID quick clean option is beautifully engineered. We use chromed polished rods with linear recirculating ball bearings so the rotor simply glides out of the body while being held securely by the non-drive end cover.
Quick clean valves that use bushes are prone to wear, misalignment and jamming. With the linear bearings and our sealed support system, the valve rotors are simple to remove, spin and insert back into the body to the original position, maintaining the tolerances for the valve’s clearances.
