We’re just finishing off an order for 31 large stainless steel valves handing fertiliser in a dockside handling plant in Estonia. They’re all screw jack operated and the large 1500×800 valves have an encoder switch so the plate can be positioned anywhere in the stroke to control the flow rate.

They’re all designed to work down to a chilly -32°C. Careful selection of materials, lubricants and electrics allow us to do this. Delivery of the valves started early as we’ve used the latest in tube laser cutting technology to make the frame parts with all the assembly holes pre-cut.

As they’re handing fertiliser, they’re also ATEX zone 22 rated.
