Many years ago MID developed the first offset rotary valve on the market. The first few valves were only slightly offset and through extensive testing we found that this was not enough to prevent product damage. Other manufacturers at the time copied the idea but unfortunately copied the valve that was not offset enough.

Description

MID developed the valve and we produce the only offset rotary valve on the market that can handle lumpy products with zero damage.

Using a true side feed into the valve, the product is picked up by the rotor and moved towards the top of the valve where it settles into the bottom of the pocket. This way, it is kept away from the rotor tips where damage to the product (and the valve) is common.

We have handled up to 50mm lumps of limestone with the offset valve- something that no other offset valve on the market today can claim to have done.
